A SUPPORT NETWORK FOR CARE LEAVERS

PEOPLE AND A PLACE FOR CARE LEAVERS TO TURN TO

Go Forward is a charity set up by care leavers for care leavers. It was created and formed to develop care leavers network and social needs. The charities goal is to provide care leavers with somewhere and people to turn to at times of loneliness crisis and celebratory periods.

We host regular day trips and events for children in care and care leavers aged 16-25 throughout the year. We also host an annual Christmas Day Party at the Arsenal Hub with the support of volunteers and people in the community. Our long-term mission is to provide care leavers aged 16-25 with a second home to turn to at times of loneliness or crisis.

Our long-term aim is for young people out of care to live in a world where they do not feel isolated. We do this by giving care leavers a place go at times of loneliness, crisis or celebratory periods.
